Lump & Neckdown Detection

While FlawSense™ technology is the ultimate in surface defect detection, three-axis Triton micrometers are ideal for less demanding lump & neckdown applications.

Most product defects show up on a fraction of the surface. Three looks instead of two (such as with an Axion laser micrometer), increases the likelihood of detection by 50 percent. Defect detection happens simultaneously with diameter and ovality measurement and there's no cost to use this capability.
