August 2008—LaserLinc announced the appointment of Mr. Jeff Kohler as the Director of Global Sales and Marketing. Mr. Kohler is a co-founder and member of the board of directors of LaserLinc.

Mr. Kohler has over 22 years of experience in non-contact measurement. Before co-founding LaserLinc, he was with Techmet (now Beta LaserMike), which he joined in 1986.

Mr. Kohler has, for several years, been shouldering many of the responsibilities embodied in this new position, but this appointment formalizes them. His previous experience in both outside sales and product development make him uniquely suited to fill this role.

“We are extremely pleased to have Jeff fill this position formally. His technical acumen, in conjunction with his skill at sales, will allow him to play a central role in bringing our products to an ever-increasing number of clients,” said Dr. R.D. Dixon, a LaserLinc director.

Mr. Kohler is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he studied and obtained a degree in Computer Science.
