LaserLinc offers the TLAser400™ card, an innovative PC interface, and Total Vu™ software, a Windows-based measurement/data processing package. These products are designed to work with our own laser micrometers AND with those from other manufactures, such as BetaLaserMike and Zumbach.

With the economy turning the way it is, we're all going to have make changes. In a normal operating environment, you might be replacing some of your older systems. You might be replacing them with our systems.

But now, you are most likely going to have to keep your old systems running. We think the best thing you can do with your older micrometers is to run them through our TLAser400 card and use our Total Vu software to monitor your process.

Along with our processor and software, we also provide lifetime support, which now includes TotalLinc: our help system that allows us to interface with your computer to assist with setup and troubleshoot difficult problems.

LaserLinc's History

LaserLinc began by developing the TLAser400™ card and Total Vu™ software. The idea was to modernize information processing from laser micrometers. As you know, these micrometers each use their own bulky, dedicated processing systems. Linking these devices to one standard PC simplified the environment and enabled manufacturers to mix and match micrometers from different companies.

Later, we began making our own micrometers. We now manufacture non-contact laser and ultrasonic precision measurement systems of OD, ID, and wall thickness for wire, cable, fiber, hose, tube, pipe, centerless grinding, and many other industries.

Our competitors make good products. We believe ours are better, and one element that makes ours better is Total Vu software.

Total Vu software gives you in-process tolerance checking, trending, SPC, feedback control, data logging, recipes, defect detection, and other features. These tools reduce scrap, save material, increase production efficiency, and improve quality. Options are available for monitoring other variables—pressures, temperatures, loads, speeds, etc.—to provide a complete view of your process, to identify problems early, and to facilitate improvements.
