At LaserLinc we've been busy developing new products and capabilities that will improve your production processes, and now it's time to tell you about some of them.


New Scanner!

Here's the latest addition to our Triton line of three-axis scanners: the Triton360, with a 60mm measurement window and a maximum of 12,000 measurements per second (4000 per axis). This scanner is ideal for larger sizes of pipe, tube, cable, hose, and many other materials.

A three-axis scanner has several advantages over two-axis scanners, including measurement of out-of-round product regardless of its orientation, better overall measurement of average diameter, and better performance detecting product flaws.

New Capabilities!

LaserLinc now offers in-process, non-destructive Nitinol measurement using our UltraGauge+ system.

Nitinol (Nickel titanium/NiTi) is a shape memory alloy used in, among other things, medical devices. Because of its unique crystalline structure, Nitinol has been difficult to measure accurately with ultrasonics, and because of its high cost, accurate measurement is a priority for manufacturers.

New Software!

LaserLinc's UltraGauge+ Ultrasonic Measurement System is designed to work with Total Vu™ software, just like our laser micrometers.  Total Vu gives you access to powerful computational and data-processing tools, providing in-process tolerance checking, trending, SPC, feedback control, data logging, recipes, and other features.

In addition, with our UltraLock setup procedure, you can get your new system up and running in no time!

With UltraLock you can:

Automatically compute the optimal software settings to ensure accurate and reliable wave analysis and measurement.

Produce settings that allow for variation in the product's size—no need to repeat the UltraLock process just because the product size changes during a production run.

Activate with a single button in Total Vu.

Compute settings for all layers of a multi-layer product simultaneously.

For complex or difficult measurement scenarios, users can customize the way in which UltraLock searches for the optimal software settings.
